One of the key strategies we use at Golborne High School to support our Year 11 pupils in their GCSE preparation is Period 6, which forms an integral part of the Year 11 curriculum and school day. These timetabled sessions provide pupils with a dedicated hour of high-quality, targeted learning with their subject teachers. Period 6 plays an invaluable role in building confidence, developing effective revision strategies, and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
