Today we remember Golborne Colliery on the 47th Anniversary of the Mining disaster. On 18 March 1979, 11 men were employed in the Plodder Seam at Golborne Colliery when an explosion of firedamp occurred. Three men were killed, & seven subsequently died in hospital. pic.twitter.com/DbKEZLAVav

Y8 Tech pupils were challenged to design & create a mood lamp based on a theme of their choice.
