How to Apply and Admissions Policy

All applications for a place at our school are administered by Wigan Council.  You can apply for a place online via the Wigan Council website at

Since September 2019 the school has been offering places over its determined admission number of 180. This was done to meet parental demand and accommodate the larger cohorts rising from primary schools.

Following public consultation, it has been agreed that the school’s capacity will be permanently increased to accommodate 230 children in each Y7 Intake. The school has determined an admission number of 230 from September 2023 onwards.
